The winter walking-tour of the MC Ruhrtal went this year into the
Muttental in Witten.
At a wonderful winter weather we followed the Bergbau-Rundweg through the Muttental.
The Muttental is known as a cradle of the coal mining at the Ruhr.
Therefore there're lots of evidence of the 500 years of history of coal mining in the Ruhr area.
At the ending waffles, salads and saussages were served at the historic meeting house of the miners.
A forger teached the children to create small works of art out of iron.
