11. SR/XT 500 Winter party in Krefeld 22.-23.01.2011

11. Winter party of the SR/XT 500 IG Ruhrpott and of the SR/XT Owners Niederrhein
It was a drizzly winter weather when we celebrated our 11. winter party for
SR- and XT-riders.
It took place again in Krefeld-Oppum in the rail triangle.
It was a very homely meeting in a nice athmospere with friends.
There was a small market place this time just to bring everybody into the right mood.
Although it was so small there were exquisite and rare parts:
Et al. replica exhaust pipes for SR and XT made of stainless steel, side caps with a window made of special plastics,
misc. parts made of aluminium, oil lines made of copper, special tools, bucks for the engine, fuel tanks, footrests,
handlebars, lights, wheels and seats.
Two moppeds completed the market.
But greatest event was to meet so many friends again.
Naturally there was again the vegetarian stew and the yummy Chili con Carne.
And there was a little bit of show tinkering this year, too. Unfortunately not successfully at all.
The rider did not take the way home at the night, because the loose contact was only nearly found, but couldn't be
finally fixed.
As usual the fuel talks lasted until morning.
After the (collective) breakfast the guests said goodbye until next reunion.
We thank all our guests, which found their way to us and celebrated with us this 11. winter
party.
We're looking foreward to arrange our SR 500 and XT 500 winter meeting next year again for you.
