10. Winter meeting of the SR/XT 500 IG Ruhrpott and of the SR/XT Owners Niederrhein
2010 - The Ruhrpott is European Capital of Culture! ->

This year the name "winter party" was programm: It was a real winter. We
had lots of snow and cold for our 10. SR 500 and XT 500 winter meeting, but it was also a
beautyfull winter day.
And so it was a really comfortable meeting at the new location in Krefeld-Oppum - incl.
fire tons and open air barbecues.
Nobody had to freeze. Nor inside, neither outside where ther area was protected by sheets, and
also not at the fire.
And nobody had to starve. If you didn't like to use the barbecue, you could enjoy our traditional
vegetarian stew or the very yummy Chili con Carne - with whole peperoni (ok it were the mild
peperoni)
As every year the live music from "The Dash" took care to keep the mood high and
the atmospere comfortable - until next morning!
So it was a little bit dificult to fall asleep in the "dormitory" next door -
in the own tent outside it was easier, even fresher!
After the breakfast our guests turned crefully home. There was just a little new snow.
We want to say thank you to all our guests that found the way to us despite of the weather for this great winter party and we're looking foreward to see you again next year.
Ride allways free of accident and damage this year!
We'll carry on taking care of this nice tradition!
